Bored.Hungry.Pathetic

I'm home before 11.30 on a Friday Night..grrr..it's so unlike me..
For me..when I'm bored I tend to eat a lot..and trust me..when I eat,
I'll eat till the stomachs gonna burst...

But now, I'm hungry...and I don't want to eat because after food..i'll
be heading for snooze land and trust me..it ain't gonna do me justice for
the Langkawi trip we planned for in the two months..GRRRR..So how do I
stop my crave from hunger? Think about food..LOL..

I'm a weirdo...Thinking about food alone can make me full enough to not
wanna eat and head on to snooze land with a "full tummy"..Hmmm...I'm craving
for something light..which would very well mean..My very own recipe of onion soup..Yummy...It's a simple dish to prepare..

My onion soup recipe:
1. 2 White large onions
2. Dried Rosemary
3. Dried Basil
4. Dried Parsley
5. Butter
6. Salt
7. Chicken soup base

So where do I start?

- Boil a medium to big pot of soup with a few chicken carcass, ranging from 2-3..the bigger the pot..the more you need..and trust me..chicken carcass are sweet...Let it boil all the way until it is ready to serve..=p The longer it boils, the tastier it becomes.=)

- Cut the onions into slices, the best is to cut and peel it in a bowl of water to prevent the eyes from tearing. After cutting the onions into slices, put the whole butter which would be approximately 250grams into a medium sized pot to melt.*It is one hell of a fattening pot of soup* After the butter has been melted, put the sliced onions inside to fry in small fire..I guess it took me about 20 minutes to half an hour to fry the onions into a delicious golden brown...and dammm..I hate onions but the aroma of the slow fried onions is just irresistible..=p As it is turning golden brown, add a table spoon of dried rosemary, parsley and basil.

- As the chicken soup is boiling..pour the onions into the pot of chicken soup. Try not pouring the oil together.Add salt on chicken stock based on your own taste buds..Let it boil for another 30-45 minutes depending on how soft you want the onions to be. Once the soup turns golden and clear, it is ready to serve!

Btw..one thing about this soup is, it doesn't necessarily need chicken soup base. Either way it will taste good...*yawns..* I'm sleepy now..and I forgot I was hungry..or rather I became full talking about my home made clear onion soup recipe..

It doesn't look too good..but judging by the reaction of the ones I love..I believe it tasted good..LOL..*thick skin*..alrighties..gonna go to dream land and dream of my onion soup..tata..=p
